Kristoffer Kristofferson is a noted songwriter, singer, and actor who penned down popular songs such as Help Me Make It Through the Night, For the Good Times, and Sunday Mornin’ Comin’ Down and even recorded them. Most of his creations have been great hits. He also composed his own songs and collaborated with Shel Silverstein, the Nashville songwriter. Kris has the honor of getting inducted into the renowned Country Music Hall of Fame in 2004. Let’s not forget his portrayals in Heaven’s Gate and Alice Doesn’t Live Here Anymore, and the fact he even won a Golden Globe Award in the Best Actor category for A Star is Born.
Kristofferson is 84 and suffering from Lyme disease these days, though he’s getting treated well by Californian specialists. We sincerely hope he has his health insurance policies in place. He never faced any bankruptcy complications in his entire career though.
