Legendäre Promis aus dem Goldenen Zeitalter, die noch leben – für sie ist das Alter wirklich nur eine Zahl
Heino — 1940

Heino, whose real name is Heinz Georg Kramm, but is also active under various pseudonyms such as Gio Bilk, Bilk Gio, G. Bilk, H. Bilk and others, is a German musician. He is known as a pop singer and interpreter of German folk songs, but has also turned to other genres over the course of his career. Due to his striking appearance with blond hair and black sunglasses, as well as his signature baritone, Heino became a folk music icon.
By 2013, Heino said he had sold over 50 million records. Heino is a true folk musician. The star of the Volksbühne was born in Düsseldorf in the late 1930s and returned in 1945 with his family, who had been evacuated to Pomerania during the war.
He first appeared in a band in the 1960s, but quickly switched to a solo career and had a hit with his first solo single. Heino sang unforgettable pearls of folk music such as Black Barbara and Blue Blossoms the Gentian. His most striking feature was always the dark sunglasses he wore because of his bulging eyes. In the meantime, artistic silence has returned for Heino, and he has completely retired from professional life since 2012.
