For many, the Hamptons represents the ultimate sanctuary—a coastal refuge for New York’s elite to escape the city.
But for Hilaria and Alec Baldwin, the exclusive enclave is no longer the right backdrop for their growing family.
After a turbulent few years, the couple are now looking to the West Coast for a new beginning.
"We don’t want to raise our kids in the Hamptons anymore," Hilaria, 41, told relationship expert Kara Francis in an interview for Gurus magazine.
"We’re considering L.A. It’s all about fresh energy — a reset."

A new start in Los Angeles The Dancing with the Stars alum shares seven children with her husband Alec, 67, ranging from two-year-old Ilaria to 12-year-old Carmen.
With a brood that includes four boys and three girls, the logistics of family life are complex, but the motivation for the move appears to be emotional rather than practical.
The couple are seeking to draw a line under a difficult period and find a different environment for their children.
This desire for a "reset" comes as the family navigates the aftermath of the Rust film set shooting and the subsequent legal battles that engulfed Alec Baldwin for more than three years.
'They saved my life' While Hilaria focuses on the future location of their home, Alec has recently opened up about how his children anchored him during his time away from the public eye.
Speaking on The Adam Friedland Show earlier this month, the actor revealed he hadn't been "doing very much" professionally since the incident, spending nearly all his time at home.
"I’m 67 years old, I got a 3-year-old baby, so I got a lot of kids at home... and they saved my life," he said.

He described the isolation of the last three and a half years, noting that having his children around him was the only thing that pulled him through.
"One of the more frustrating and even painful things in life is when you have nobody to give your love to," he explained. "I have a lot of love to give."
Finding joy in the spotlight The family's potential move coincides with Hilaria's recent return to the public sphere via Dancing with the Stars.
It was a venture that saw the whole clan, including Alec and their seven children, cheering her on from the front row as she performed a samba to "Shake it to the Max".
For Hilaria, the experience was about reclaiming a sense of happiness after the years of scrutiny.
"The purpose of dancing is not just to feel and to enjoy the work that we do, but it's to make people happy," she said following the performance.
As the family considers trading the Atlantic coast for the Pacific, that search for happiness and "fresh energy" appears to be the driving force behind their next chapter.
