40 Portraits, 4 Girls and 40 Years – The Brown Sisters’ Heartwarming Transformation Over Four Decades Captured in Pictures

Keeping A Little Distance, 1991

Unlike the one of 1990, in the 1991 shot, the sisters are not hugging each other anymore, and they’re keeping some distance instead. While we saw plenty of pictures in their youth with happy faces, you can hardly notice the sisters’ smiley expressions as time progresses. Just like everybody, their life got difficult as they grew up.

This time they gathered to take the annual picture in Watertown, again in Massachusetts. Two of the sisters, Mimi and Bebe, have slightly worried faces, indicating changes in their personal life or even in their minds. However, Heather and Laurie seem confident, demonstrating protective poses next to their siblings.
