40 Portraits, 4 Girls and 40 Years – The Brown Sisters’ Heartwarming Transformation Over Four Decades Captured in Pictures
Two Decades Since The Beginning, 1995

Twenty years is a long time for changes. Everything can turn upside down in two decades. Still, surprisingly, the Brown sisters managed to maintain the tradition and took one more picture in 1995, 20 years after their first family picture for Nixon’s collection. This portrait is taken in Marblehead, Massachusetts and the sisters look pretty much alike again.
By comparing this image to the one of 1975 and 1985, we can only imagine how many things had changed in their lives over the years. The transformation from youth to middle age is indeed fascinating. The only thing that didn’t change is their friendly attitude towards each other and Nixon’s dedication to capturing them repeatedly.
