Forming in 1965, British rock band Pink Floyd easily became one of the most commercially successful bands in history. Their music was experimental and some would say even psychedelic, but that only added to the mystery and the appeal of the group. They seemingly effortlessly managed to leave an impression and it’s no surprise they became one of music’s most influential contributors. The band was initially composed of four students and friends, with the addition of David Gilmour happening later, although he was involved when the band became insanely wealthy. Well, they had the privilege of fame and huge paychecks at a young age – one that they must have cherished.
