TV Show F-Troop was a hit from 1965 until 1967, spanning two seasons & 65 episodes

Back in 1965, a satirical TV show emerged on peoples’ screens in the form of F Troop. The premise for the show followed U.S. soldiers and American Indians during the 1860s and frequently parodied historical events. Comedic timing and gags were abundant in the show which involved a malfunctioning cannon and a lot of humor. The show aired until 1967 and benefited from actors such as Forrest Tucker, Melody Patterson, and Larry Storch. They didn’t become Hollywood sensations although they had likely enjoyed great salaries and the exposure the show gave them.
