Kenny Stabler, nicknamed ‘Snake,’ played in the NFL for the Oakland Raiders between 1970 and 1979. He’s pictured above during that period with his coach John Madden. Kenny went on to become one of the sports greatest athletes, winning the title of Most Valuable Player in 1974 and making the All-Decade Team of the ’70s. His wealth management advisers no doubt kept track of his income as he was highly sought after. He had a brief stint with the Houston Oilers and the New Orleans Saints. He was elected posthumously to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2016; he died a year earlier.
