Actress and beauty Julie Christie was born in 1940 and went on to star in the eighth highest-grossing movie of all time after inflation adjustments. We’re talking about Dr. Zhivago of course, which went on to win many, many awards and nominations at the time of its release. The movie itself is based on a novel written by Boris Pasternak and is set between World War 1 and the Russian Civil War. It was a huge hit, which was well-deserving of the immense earnings it raked in as well as the huge publicity the main cast had received afterward.
