Rocky Marciano, Died At Age 45 – $1 Million

During the late ’40s until the mid-’50s, Rocky Marciano was the name to beat in the boxing scene. He had a total of 49 wins in his career and was actually an undefeated Heavyweight champion when he retired. Before becoming a successful boxer, he served in the Army from 1943 until 1946.

Some of the jobs he took on after retiring were in show business, but he also got to work as a boxing commentator and wrestling referee. Just one day before he was supposed to turn 46 years old back in 1969, he died after the private plane he was in plunged to a fatal crash.
