Beth Chapman’s Life Story: The Real “Lady And The Tramp”
Locked Up In A Mexican Prison

Unfortunately, Dog’s mission didn’t go as smoothly as he hoped it would. Mexican authorities apprehended the bounty hunter and his team shortly after they captured their quarry. You see, bounty hunting is not legal in Mexico, so the team found themselves in a very tight spot. The police arrested and charged them with kidnapping.
Andrew Luster was arrested that day too. He got extradited back to California, where he received a sentence of 124 years in prison (later reduced significantly). Beth immediately alerted the American media and authorities about the situation of her husband, who in turn pressured the Mexican officials to lessen the charges.
