It definitely wasn’t Dog’s and Beth’s first rodeo when it comes to lawsuits and going to a trial. But, they were definitely surprised when the state of Hawaii filed a lawsuit against their company for $35K; they were suing for forfeitures on more than 20 criminal cases.
The state representatives, in this case, explained that if the bail bonds company clients skip the trial, they would have to track the funds down. Dog and Beth rallied their legal team and promptly denied the allegations, saying that the forfeitures accusations were false and unfounded.
