Tracy Shaw – Born in 1973
An icon of the 1980s and 1990s, Tracy Shaw first gained recognition playing Maxine Peacock on the iconic soap “Coronation Street” from 1995 to 2003. She was one of the most prominent characters on the show and was at the centre of some of the biggest storylines, including her dramatic murder in 2003.
Beyond acting, she was awarded “Rear of the Year” in 1996 and had a brief pop career in 1998. Since leaving the show, she has become a highly respected director, working on some of Britain’s most acclaimed television dramas. She looks happy and now prefers her career as a director to acting.
