Kat Von D – Born in 1982
Mexican-American artist Katherine von Drachenberg, better known as Kat Von D, first rose to prominence as a tattoo artist on the TV show “Miami Ink” in 2005. Her rock ‘n’ roll aesthetic and incredible talent made her a breakout star, and she quickly launched her own spin-off series, “LA Ink”, in 2007.
We all saw her break a Guinness World Record in 2007 for giving the most tattoos in 24 hours! A true entrepreneur, she also launched a successful vegan makeup line, Kat Von D Beauty, in 2008. In 2023, she sold her Los Angeles home and moved to Indiana to raise her child.
