Charissa Thompson, a co-host on Fox Sports Live and Extra, is one of the most well-known figures in the sports entertainment industry. She worked for GSN, the Big Ten Network, ESPN, and Versus, and until she left ESPN for Fox Sports in 2013, she co-hosted “SportsNation” with Marcellus Wiley.
One of the funniest news anchor bloopers was Thompson’s episode on “SportsNation.” She had commented on not taking oneself too seriously when there was a cut to a behind-the-scenes video of Thompson getting hit in the face by a scrunched-up ball of paper. It looked like it hurt a little, but she took it in stride.
