Sometimes, surprisingly hilarious things might happen in the middle of a serious issue, making it difficult to maintain composure. Hema Mullur experienced this when she was just starting as a newscaster for a small-town news station in West Texas.
She was reporting on a story about Tara Lynn Grant’s horrific murder when this incident occurred. A picture of Stephen Grant, Tara’s husband and murderer, emerged on the screen as she spoke. Mullur tried to contain her laughter, but she couldn’t help but join everyone else since they were all laughing. She eventually had to defend herself when the scene provoked uproar online.
