Born to author parents, Conrad Janis had that streak of creativity in him already. But he chose a different career as he was a jazz trombonist first before he embarked on a career of an actor. He also did a number of television shows that added to his illustrious career. Best known for Mork & Mindy, wherein he essayed the role of Mindy’s dad ‘Frederick’, Conrad never really had forsaken his musical talent. Through his acting career, he didn’t neglect jazz and kept it alive.
