Iconic Celebrities From The Golden Age That Still Alive – For Them Age Really Is Just A Number

Carleton Carpenter – 1926

It was the stage that became Carpenter’s first love, but later, he couldn’t resist the temptation of Hollywood. His acting skills didn’t go unnoticed, and many in tinsel town took notice, catapulting him to greater heights of fame. He has worked in films such as Some of My Best Friends Are, Three Little Words, The Whistle at Eaton Falls, and Two Weeks with Love, among others.

He also traveled abroad as an actor. Carpenter made up his mind to bid adieu to the show business in the year 1983. After retirement he has taken to writing, and now, he divides his time between leisure and appearing on stage as an author. With so much energy, who needs anti-aging lotions? Right now, he is well into his nineties and never seems to tire down for a second. We wish him the best of luck for whatever project he chooses to undertake.
