Hasbro introduced My Little Pony toy line in 1982 and these colorful little ponies became very famous during the 1980s and the 1990s. As My Little Pony’s popularity was growing, other toy companies wanted to make money and take credit for their own version of the toy by producing imitations of the original toy. Thanks to their colorful bodies and hair and the unique symbol painted on their sides, they’ve become collectibles. These days, some My Little Pony toys from the ’80s are selling for more than $600 on eBay even if their condition isn’t that excellent.
