The first Sonic game, Sonic the Hedgehog, was a platform game which was released in 1991. The game had a tremendous success and produced many sequels, and turned Sega into a leading video game company during the 1990s. Kids had spent hours in front of a screen playing this video game, and if by any chance you still have it in its original packaging, you could sell it for nearly $2K. Wow, just think of how many gold rings Sonic could buy with that money! In 2014, a film based on the Sonic series was announced and the movie is scheduled to premiere in 2019.
