Vinyl-Caped Jawa – Estimated Value $30K
When the original Jawa figures were produced in 1978, they came with a vinyl cape. However, in the second edition, the vinyl capes were replaced with fabric. This change made the vinyl-caped Jawa version extremely rare and the figure is now considered to be the ‘holy grail’ for Star Wars collectors. In May 2017, at Vectis Auctions in Thornaby, the Star Wars Vintage Vinyl Cape Jawa figure was sold for £21,6K (approximately $30K). The only thing we can say is “may the Force be with you,” and if you have a rare Star Wars figure in your possession and have some loans to pay off, selling it might be a good idea!
