The first moon shoes were introduced in the 1950s and they were metallic, but they became extremely fashionable during the ’90s when Nickelodeon, in a merchandising effort, introduced them to the public. This version had closed sides, a plastic construction, and bungee-style springs to reassure kids’ safety. If by any chance you didn’t break your moon shoes and they are in a good condition, you could sell them for nearly $200. Do they come with a life insurance? Because they seem rather dangerous!
