Who hasn’t played Monopoly? Who hasn’t sold hotels and or declared bankruptcy while playing this memorable table game? Taking into consideration the fact that many Monopoly games have been manufactured (in 1935 alone, more than 20,000 games were being produced each week), a vintage Monopoly game usually isn’t worth that much but there’s always an exception. In 2011, the original hand-drawn version made by Charles Darrow in 1933, was sold for $146,5K at a Sotheby’s auction.
