HELGE SCHNEIDER — 1956
Helge Schneider is a German entertainer, comedian, cabaret artist, author, film and theater director, actor and multi-instrumentalist. He became known through stage performances in which he combines, for example, slapstick and parodies with jazz music. An important element of his work is improvisation. Helge Schneider is a comedian who is not actually known for his beautiful head of hair…. Since 1993 he has been making people laugh with his humor on tour, and Helge still does that today.
He tours Germany almost every year and only received a Recklinghausen Hurz main prize in 2018. In 2003, Schneider opened the theater with his play “Mendy – das Wusical”. With the single Helges Mörchen-Lied he landed another chart hit. He is the father of 6 children by 4 different women.
The oldest child was adopted and is now 35 years old, his youngest son is only five years old and is called Charly. Hopefully Helge still cuts a fine figure at the regular parents’ evenings.
