PEZ Dispensers – Estimated Value $32K
PEZ was invented in 1927, in Vienna, and it was a peppermint-flavored popular breath mint. The first PEZ dispensers appeared in 1949 and looked like –as far as their shape is concerned- cigarette lighters and some of the first character dispensers looked like robots or even Santa Claus. It seems that an old Pez dispenser now sells like gold if someone wants to add one to his vintage collection. In 2006, an ‘Astronaut B. Pez’ dispenser was sold for over $32K! If our parents have known that, we are sure they would have insisted on giving us more candies rather than yelling.
