Clint Eastwood never really took any acting lessons. In the early ’50s, he was a soldier in Fort Ord when a Universal agent told him to audition for some roles. However, he was rejected for not being good enough. Almost a decade later, in 1959, he was cast in the Western series, Rawhide. He reached international fame by collaborating with director Sergio Leone in the Dollars and the Dirty Harry series of films and is now considered the greatest Western-film actor ever. He’s also directed or produced many of the films he starred in. After years of having one of the highest salaries in showbiz, Eastwood now sits on a massive $375 million fortune.
