Elvis Enjoyed Sports
Back in 1956, several hundreds of people were reunited in the Dave Wells Community Center to watch a game of touch football. But the main attraction happened to be one of the players. Elvis joined in to showcase his skills and was able to survive the opponents’ blocks with nothing but a couple of bruises that didn’t require a trip to the hospital.
Elvis Presley was a huge sports fan; he supported the Cleveland Browns and the Pittsburgh Steelers and used to watch their games on television. Besides playing football, as depicted above, he also enjoyed karate and racquetball.
