Line Of Succession – 65 Years Apart
The line of succession is an invisible system that decides the next king or queen of the United Kingdom. In the past, the sons of the royal family got priority over daughters in the line of succession. The rule was that even if a daughter was older, a younger son would get priority to the throne.
However, a change in legislation in March 2015 gave equal rights to both males and females who were born after the 28th day of October 2011. As of now, Prince Charles would be king upon the Queen’s death or abdication, and Prince William would be next followed by his children George, Charlotte, and Louis.
