She was Prince Charles’ first wife and Prince William and Prince Harry’s mother. Princess Diana was popular for her compassion, activism, and glamour, which made her an international icon. In August 1997, her life ended at the age of 36 due to a fatal car crash in Paris that took the whole world by surprise.
