Winkler had a rough time in school, as he claimed he had many learning disabilities. However, he was never worried as he knew he wanted to become an actor from a very young age. Throughout the early ’70s, he worked in minor acting jobs and in the theater. But all that changed in 1974 when was cast in the iconic TV series Happy Days. Apart from huge earnings, the series brought Winkler a lot of media attention and many new lucrative roles such as in Children’s Hospital and Arrested Development. Currently, Winkler sits on a $60 million fortune. Since 2018, he has been starring in the black-comedy series Barry.
