Robert DeNiro was 16 when he quit high school to become an actor, and boy did that prove to be a wise choice! However, for many years, all he did was land minor roles which offered him almost zero money. But that changed in 1974 when he was cast in the iconic The Godfather: Part II. That role earned him a lot of fame and also an Academy Award. Since then, DeNiro has managed to star in numerous blockbusters and is considered a Hollywood powerhouse.
