Life was rather simple for Bono, who always knew he wanted to become a musician. When he was a student in the Mount Temple Comprehensive School in Dublin, he formed U2 along with some of his classmates and they released their debut studio album titled Boy in 1980. U2 became an instant hit and Bono didn’t have to ask his father for money, who’d made clear that he had to leave the house if he couldn’t find a job. Bono has now released 14 studio albums with the band, with the most recent one being 2017’s Songs of Experience. He’s been married to Ali Hewson since 1982.
