Dirk Benedict made his first acting steps in the ’70s, when he had some brief appearances in acclaimed TV shows of the time like Hawaii Five-0 and Charlie’s Angels. His earnings weren’t significant, but those roles gave his career the boost he required to land his breakthrough role in the Battlestar Galactica original series in 1978. Withal, Benedict will always be remembered for his performance in the classic TV show The A-Team, which aired in 1983. He reprised his role in the 2010 film adaptation of the series, which also remains his most recent on-screen appearance.
