Tom Selleck originally worked in the modeling industry, while also studying at the University of Southern California on a scholarship. During his years as a senior, he started landing some minor TV roles until he got more attention for his work in The Rockford Files. That helped him land his breakthrough role in Magnum P.I., the TV series which aired in 1980 and remains his most successful and acclaimed appearance. Having more than 50 acting credits in his portfolio, the last time we saw Selleck act was in the 2015 TV film Jesse Stone: Lost In Paradise. He’s been married to Jillie Mack since 1987.
