The idea of receiving a spanking from a teacher is enough to make most of us shudder. Thankfully, gone are the days when teachers had the authority to use physical punishment to reprimand their students. Such inhumane methods of discipline were abolished and are now replaced with more understanding and effective approaches.
We have come a long way since corporal punishment was the norm. Everyone is now more conscious of the repercussions of such an extreme form of discipline and it’s heartening to know that it is no longer tolerated. Teachers can still give students a stern look but that is as far as it goes.
