On one occasion in 2013, Jim described his relationship with Todd as a normal “boring love”. He said it was love and everyday life intertwined together. Their wedding was held in 2017 in New York, after almost fifteen years of being together. Jim also said that meeting Todd was the best thing that has ever happened to him. The act of tying the knot was just not all that important to them at first. But after the celebration, Jim said it proved to be very special.
