In real life, Ty Burrell has been married to his wife Holly since August 2000. The couple has adopted two daughters since 2010. Ty and Holly met at the Shakespeare Theatre in Washington D.C. She was also an actress but later abandoned the entertainment world to become a professional chef. They used to live in New York City and still own property there. The couple lived in a two-bedroom apartment which they now rent out. Then in 2008, they moved to Salt Lake City and then finally to Southern California for Ty’s work on the sitcom.
