Actor Jussie Smollett started his career as a child when he acted in movies such as Mighty Ducks and North. He got his big breakthrough when he starred in Fox’s TV drama Empire where he played the character of Jamal Lyon. Jussie also appeared in Ridley Scott’s sci-fi movie Alien: Covenant and in the 2017 movie Marshall. He was involved in a controversy at the beginning of 2019 when he was accused of staging an attack on him and filing a false report to the police. Charges were dropped in exchange for him performing community service.
