Jodie Foster became famous worldwide for her role as Clarice Starling in the iconic psychological thriller movie The Silence of the Lambs opposite Anthony Hopkins. That role won Jodie her second Oscar, but her career began long before that. She began modeling when she was three and her movie debut came in 1968 at the age of five. Her breakthrough role in Taxi Driver came in 1976 and earned Jodie an Oscar nomination. Jodie’s first Academy Award was for her performance in The Accused in 1976. Jodie also received high praise for her directorial work on Money Monster and The Beaver, while her most recent acting role was in Hotel Artemis in 2018.
