John Madden – Pleasanton, California, Price Undisclosed
John Earl Madden was an American football coach and sports commentator in the National Football League (NFL). He was the head coach of the Oakland Raiders from 1969 to 1978. He became part of eight playoff appearances, seven division titles, and seven AFL/AFC Championship Game appearances. Besides that, he also won the first Super Bowl title in Super Bowl XI. Madden was one of the only head coaches with the highest winning percentage among NFL head coaches who coached around 100 games.
Madden and his wife Virginia are perhaps the most famous couple in Pleasanton. And thanks to his coaching of the Oakland Raiders and NFL broadcasting he won the hearts of his fans. Also, his sports talk on KCBS and, of course, not to forget his Madden NFL Football as the top-selling sports video game of all time.
Along with his wife and kids, Madden had a wonderful time in Virginia Fields, Pleasanton. We don’t know the exact price of the property. But it surely is one luxurious one, and we are sure Madden spent his last retirement years there peacefully.
