Ted Williams, Died At Age 83 – $5 Million

Former baseball player Ted Williams was seen playing for the Boston Red Sox for nearly two decades. In 1942, he was drafted into the Navy Reserve and went on active duty a year later. He eventually got to become a Naval Aviator in the United States Marine Corps by 1944.

Despite getting back to baseball by 1946, he later went back to military service for a while to serve in the Korean War. Williams passed away back in 2002 due to a cardiac arrest that was believed to be connected to his congestive heart failure and numerous strokes. His net worth was said to be at $5 million back then.
