Lady Diana and Prince Charles announced their engagement on the 24th day of February 1981, while Duchess Catherine and Prince William made their announcement on the 16th of November 2010. Although in different shades, the mother and daughter (in-law) chose to wear blue on their special days. This further proves the similarities in their sense of style. They even had the same engagement ring!
