Elvis Was a Stage Animal
After his NBC comeback, Elvis would install himself as a resident artist in Las Vegas, where he performed his most demanding series of concerts. Elvis, at one point, did two concerts every day (one at dinner and one at midnight) because the tickets were sold out every time and fans of the King kept coming.
Despite the excellent ticket sales, Elvis’ Las Vegas shows were highly unpredictable and had to be canceled multiple times, due to health reasons. The act itself could be either terrible or amazing, but everyday rock and roll fans lined up for the show.
